Do you struggle with walking in peace? I do. Every single day there is something that threatens to snatch my joy. In John 10:10 it says "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."
As I write this I'm struggling myself to find peace. It's a daily choice that no matter what comes our way we will keep calm and turn our eyes on Jesus. There are fear darts, life ups and downs...daily stuff that happens at every turn that will threaten to rob you of your peace and joy. But the bible tells us that if we keep our minds steadfast on Him He will give us a peace that passes all understanding. So as I sit here typing I'm praying that prayer over myself. Lord take this thing that is trying to distract and rob me of my today. I'm looking to you. I'm applying that verse and holding it as truth. I'm choosing to turn my eyes and focus on what your word says and as I do that I'm trusting you to FILL ME to overflowing with a peace that is crazy good. I believe in you. I'm trusting you. In Jesus' name amen.
All that to say...this month's letter is on perfect peace! Of course, it is:)) My oldest daughter Maggie @audaciousdaughter created a sketch of my younger daughter Felicity years ago that is to this day my absolute favorite. The peace on her face as bees swarm around her head represents Isaiah 26:3 "You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast because they trust in you." It measures 5X7 and comes with an envelope if you'd like to pass it along.
